Individual Coaching Sessions
Sometimes you don’t need a full program—you just need a place to get support, gain clarity, and figure out your next step.
Individual coaching sessions give you the opportunity to work with me one-on-one around the specific area of your life where you’re feeling stuck.
Maybe you’re trying to set a boundary with a difficult family member.
Maybe you keep falling into the same relationship pattern and want to understand why.
Maybe motherhood is bringing up triggers you weren’t expecting.
Or maybe you already understand why you do what you do—but you need practical tools to help you actually do something differently.
That’s what these sessions are for.
What Can We Work On?
Individual coaching sessions are personalized to you, but some of the areas I commonly support women with include:
• Breaking unhealthy generational and family patterns
• Understanding how childhood experiences influence your relationships and motherhood today
• Navigating relationships with emotionally immature or difficult family members
• Recognizing your attachment patterns and learning how to create healthier relationships
• Setting boundaries without being consumed by guilt
• Breaking patterns of people-pleasing, perfectionism, overfunctioning, or self-abandonment
• Building self-worth, self-trust, and confidence
• Understanding your emotions and learning practical regulation skills
• Improving communication and navigating relationship conflict differently
• Learning how to regulate, co-regulate, and repair in motherhood
• Navigating motherhood identity, overwhelm, burnout, and relationship changes
• Identifying what you actually want and creating intentional change in your life
These sessions bring together something I think is incredibly important:
Depth + practical application.
We can explore the patterns underneath what you’re experiencing while also identifying concrete tools and changes you can begin practicing in your everyday life.
What Does Coaching Look Like?
Coaching is collaborative, goal-oriented, and focused on helping you create meaningful change in your life.
Rather than following a predetermined curriculum, we’ll start with what’s happening for you right now.
We might explore:
What’s happening?
What pattern keeps showing up?
Where might it come from?
What do you want to be different?
And what can you begin practicing to get there?
My clinical background deeply informs the way I understand people, relationships, attachment, emotions, and behavior.
However, when you work with me through Securely Her, you are working with me in my role as a coach—not as your therapist.
That’s an important distinction.
Coaching vs. Therapy
While coaching and therapy can both support personal growth and meaningful change, they are not the same service.
Coaching tends to be a good fit when you are looking for:
• Clarity around a specific challenge or pattern
• Personal growth and self-understanding
• Education around relationships, attachment, boundaries, emotions, or motherhood
• Practical tools and strategies
• Support implementing changes in your everyday life
• Goal setting and accountability
• A more focused, present- and future-oriented approach
Therapy may be a better fit when you are looking for:
• Mental health assessment, diagnosis, or treatment
• Treatment for significant anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health concerns
• Clinical treatment of symptoms that are interfering with daily functioning
• A therapeutic relationship governed by the laws, regulations, and protections applicable to psychotherapy
Coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment, even when your coach is also a licensed therapist.
My education, years of clinical experience, and training absolutely inform how I approach this work—but our relationship through Securely Her remains a coaching relationship.
If at any point I believe your needs would be better supported through therapy or another level of care, I’ll talk with you about that and help you consider appropriate next steps.
Looking for Therapy Instead?
I offer psychotherapy separately through my California private practice.
You can find my private practice HERE.
Because therapy is a licensed clinical service, my individual psychotherapy services are available only to clients who are physically located in California at the time services are provided.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I provide therapy for women navigating many of the same areas I specialize in through my broader work, including childhood and family-of-origin experiences, anxiety, relationship patterns, attachment, boundaries, motherhood, emotional regulation, and generational trauma.
If you’re unsure whether coaching or therapy would be the better fit for what you’re looking for, that’s something we can discuss during a free consultation.
A Flexible Way to Work Together
One of the benefits of individual coaching is flexibility.
You don’t have to commit to a 12-week program.
You can meet with me:
Once — to work through a specific challenge or get professional guidance around something you’re navigating.
As needed — scheduling sessions when something comes up and you want additional support.
Ongoing — meeting regularly for a period of time while you work toward a larger goal or create meaningful changes.
Sessions are held virtually, so coaching clients can work with me from different locations.*

What I Want You to Know Before We Meet
Reaching out to someone you don’t know and talking about personal parts of your life can feel vulnerable.
I know that both professionally and personally.
But sessions are usually much more comfortable and conversational than people imagine.
You don’t have to show up knowing exactly what to say.
That’s my job—to ask questions, get curious with you, and help us figure out what would be most useful to focus on.
My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and honest.
We’ll make space for understanding why while also asking:
What do you want to do differently from here?
I consider it an honor when someone trusts me enough to let me into their story, and I want you to feel comfortable deciding whether I’m the right person to support you.
If I’m not, that’s okay too.
This is your growth, your life, and your choice.

Individual coaching through Securely Her is an educational and personal-development service and is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, diagnosis, or a substitute for appropriate mental health or medical care. Psychotherapy is offered separately through my California private practice to eligible clients located in California.
