Becoming Securely Her

This program will be on the topic of self-worth and improving your relationship with yourself so that you can become secure in yourself.

This program will assist you with:

  • Improving your self-esteem, worth, identity.

  • Learning how to identify your wants/needs and how to communicate them.

  • How to decrease/stop negative-self talk and negative thinking patterns.

  • How to connect with yourself, including your emotions and how to process/manage them.

  • It will support you with learning to put yourself as a priority and putting boundaries in place.

  • It will help you to identify your goals/dreams for the future and how to obtain them.

  • It will help you have healthy relationships with everyone around you, as you learn to show up with confidence, clarity, and improve communication/boundary skills.

  • Help you break cycles and be a foundation to have a healthy family.

Learning how to have a healthy relationship with yourself is a foundation for learning how to have a healthy relationship with others around you. It will also assist you with modeling and teaching these concepts to your children, so that you can raise healthy/secure children for the next generation. Meaning, you will learn the beginning stage of breaking cycles in your family, ending generational trauma, and change your family tree. It really does start with you!

This program will provide you with information, discussions, practical/daily skills, but will also dig deep to challenge unhelpful core beliefs you might carry that impact your relationship with yourself. This is a powerful group to transform how you feel about yourself, as you learn to let go of insecurities, shame, and habits that aren’t serving you.

Our relationships are only has healthy as the relationship we have with ourself, so let’s start there! Please reach out for more information related to this program.

Current Open Program:

Heal Emotionally Immature Parents

This program is for adult children that grew up with emotionally immature/toxic parents and desire to heal from the aftermath and ongoing difficulties that can arise from unhealthy parent-child relationships. During this program you will learn about the types of difficult, immature, or toxic parents; how to process, deal, and heal from their behavior, and practical skills to put in place to have the healthiest relationship with them that you can.

Please know that the purpose of this group is not to tell you to end your relationship with your parent - although that does happen with some. Most of us want to continue a relationship in some way with our parent. This group helps give you words, validates your experience, and provides you with tools to heal and deal with your difficult parent. It also helps you heal from generational trauma and learn to move forward to create the relationships and family you want. Healing our own parent trauma helps us show up as the parent we want in our own child’s life. This isn't the focus of the group, but it definitely can be a byproduct.

Program consists of:

  • 12 individual 55 min sessions and 1-2 email or text check-ins per week we meet

  • Additional supportive/education resources on this topic will be shared along the way

  • Sessions can be scheduled for weekly or bi-weekly

Cost of Program: 1500.00 (500.00 per month)

Securely Her Book Club

Want to start your journey towards healing generational trauma and relationship wounds, but can’t commit to a program? Or you want something different that might offer a different approach to learning? Take part in Securely Her Book Club, as we read a book together, meet 2x per month, and have an ongoing group discussion to learn, heal, and grow with other women. This is also a more cost effective program to learn, heal, and grow.

Book: The Book You Wish Your Parents Had Read (and Your Children Will be Glad That you Did) by Philippa Perry- Therapist

Why I love this book: It’s an approachable overview of how to end generational trauma, break negative cycles, manage triggering parenting situations, and how to manage feelings (yours and theirs). It really helps parents let go of trying to do things perfect, and show up the best they can with practical tools. It’s an awesome read for parents or parents to be who want to do parenting and family life different.

  • Group to meet 6x (every 2-3 weeks) for 75 to 90 min groups (depending on conversation)

  • Book Club includes a closed group chat for check-ins, follow-up questions, encouragement, and chit-chat : )

  • Cost of book club: 300.00

Book club meet format: Each meeting will include a quick summarization and discussion led by a licensed therapist, Jessica Rix, to further understand, process, and learn new ways of thinking/skills. Group discussion regarding personal experience and take-aways are strongly encouraged to make each meeting a rich and relatable experience.

It is my hope that groups are a comfortable and warm atmosphere where you can cozy up with coffee/tea or your favorite drink to relate, learn, and heal with other women in a similar journey.
